Wakefield MP calls for better air quality across Yorkshire

Wakefield MP, and Chair of the Environmental Audit Select Committee, Mary Creagh has been speaking out as part of clean air day.

She says it causes two and a half thousand early deaths in the region each year: "We want public health to be at the centre of air quality policy, rather than the environment, technical compliance or transport."
