Rob Wagstaff

I have been in radio almost as long as I have had a mortgage and remember playing some of the songs we play the first time round! Not quite ‘.....here’s the new single from a band called Earth Wind & Fire’ but you get the idea.

How and why did I get into radio? A) Hospital radio and B) because my mates did.
My first ever ‘professional’ show was in the evening and so I have come full circle. Broadcasting at night is a real pleasure because people tend to listen more carefully at that time of the day.

I am a big football fan and support two clubs – the World’s oldest league team (I will let you look that one up) and my son’s side. You will find me on the touchline every Sunday morning trying really hard not to be a competitive dad. Besides, my son is a hundred times better than his dad ever was!
