Victims of crime in Wakefield could soon meet perpetrators

People who have been victim to a crime in the Wakefield District will soon be able to meet with the person who committed it.

The first county-wide restorative justice programme's being introduced across West Yorkshire.

The region's Police and Crime Commissioner Mark Burns-Williamson says the process will support recovery for victims and their families.
