Fewer Children Are Being Arrested In West Yorkshire

According to the Howard League for Penal Reform figures have fallen by 64 per cent in the last six years.

Over four thousand six hundred and sixty children aged 17 and under were arrested last year, down from over twelve thousand nine hundred in 2010.

In England and Wales 87 and a half thousand under 18s were arrested in 2016, compared to almost a quarter of a million in 2010.
