Crofton Residents Raise Concerns Over Shop Plans

Over forty campaigners in Crofton are calling for plans to build a new mini supermarket in the area to be scrapped.

Local residents are concerned a store on Ashdene Lane - which would sell alcohol from 6am - could lead to problems there.

They believe crime and antisocial behaviour could rise if plans are approved.

Wakefield councillors are due to discuss the idea at the end of the month.
