Lady Gaga - Perfect Illusion
Lady Gaga has scored 11 top 10 singles including 4 Number 1’s along with 3 Number 1 albums. Joanne Germanotta was born in New York. As a late teenager she attended the Clive Davis arts school and by 2006 she began performing her own songs under the stage name of Lady Gaga, apparently inspired by Queen’s ‘Radio Ga Ga’ and the way she acted very theatrical like Freddie Mercury. She moved to Los Angeles where she signed a record deal and began recording her debut album. ‘The Fame’ included ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Poker Face’. She has 12 Guinness World Records, 3 Brit Awards and 6 Grammy’s. In a Times reader’s poll in 2015 she came 2nd in a list of the most influential people over the last 10 years. Lady Gaga wrote the lyrics to ‘Perfect Illusion’ on a typewriter. It’s produced by Mark Ronson and will be part of her as-yet-untitled fifth album.
